Creating outbound shipments via courier

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Step 1: Sign in

Log in to the Redo Drop-off app using your provided log in credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to Outbound Shipments

From the Start a return page, click on the menu icon at the top right to open the app's menu.

Click on Outbound Shipments.

Step 3: Outbound Shipments page

All dropped-off returns are displayed on the Outbound Shipments page. Each card under Ship to Redo represents an individual return case awaiting shipment from your location.

To begin preparation of an outbound shipment, click Create Shipment.

Step 4: Select & pack return cases

After clicking Create Shipment, you will be brought to a page which displays all Redo returns currently at your location that have not yet been packaged into an outbound shipment.

Prepare a shipping box and click on each return case as it is being packed into the box.

Note: If all returns do not fit into a single box, proceed with selecting only the items that do fit into one box and create a new shipment for any outstanding returns once the first one is completed.

Step 5: Review selected return cases

Verify that all of the selected return cases are packed into your prepared shipping box.

The note icon on each return case's card can be used to include comments about the returned items, such as if an item is missing or if there is extensive damage.

Once all selected return cases are confirmed to be packed into the box, click the button at the bottom of the screen to proceed.

Step 6: Confirm return cases & print shipping label

Using the summary screen, check once more that all listed return cases have been packed into the outbound shipment box.

If needed, you may click on a return case on the list to view more details about the return and items.

Click on Print shipping label to print the outbound shipment's shipping label. This label must be affixed to the outside of the box.

Step 7: Print the shipping label

After clicking Print shipping label, the print modal for your device will appear and you will be prompted to print the shipping label.

Click on the Print button to print the shipping label.

Step 8: Seal the package and attach the shipping label

Once the shipping label is printed, seal the outbound shipment and attach the it to the outside of the box.

If the shipping label is damaged or a new label is required, click the Print shipping label button again to reprint it.

After printing the label and affixing it to the outside of the sealed outbound shipment box, click on Ready for Pickup to finalize the shipment.

The prepared outbound shipment can now be placed in your location's designated holding area to await pickup by your courier partner.

Step 9: Outbound Shipment is picked up by courier partner

When an outbound shipment has been picked up and scanned by the courier, it will automatically disappear from the Outbound Shipments page.

If for some reason a picked up outbound shipment does not disappear from the Outbound Shipments page, you will see it listed with the Confirm courier has picked up this package message:

You can manually mark picked up outbound shipments still appearing on the Outbound Shipments page as picked up by clicking on the shipment and then clicking Confirm Pickup.
