How to get postscript marketing messages in Redo support

Setup:

To connect your Postscript account to your Redo account, navigate to the Channels page under Support Settings in Redo.

Click on postscript and enter your API key. Instructions to find your API key can be found here - make sure you get your private API key.

After clicking Save, you should see a message confirming the success of the connection.

Once connected you should see the option to disconnect

Details about using the integration:

The Redo & Postscript integration allows you to message with subscribed customers who respond to text marketing.

  • Subscriber-Initiated Messages

    • Messages from a subscriber to your business’s phone number will appear in Redo. As these messages come into Redo, your team can respond directly from within the platform.

  • Limitation with Non-Subscriber Messages

    • Responding to non-susbscribed customers is not something supported by the PostScript API. Currently, Redo will not bring in messages from non-subscribed customers.

  • Webhook Limitations for Merchant-Sent Messages

    • Redo cannot receive messages sent from the merchant through Postscript. Currently, Redo can only bring in a customer’s response to merchant messages, not the history of what the merchant had sent.
