How to set up an Audience for a One-time Campaign

How to create the right segment and include it in a single-send campaign

For merchants using Redo Marketing.


Before you start

  • Confirm Marketing is enabled for your store

  • Decide who you want to target and create the segment if it doesn’t already exist

Note: If you don’t see Marketing in your sidebar, contact your onboarding specialist or support@getredo.com


Create the audience segment

  1. Go to Marketing > Email & SMS > Segments

  2. Click Create segment

  3. Name your segment

  4. Add conditions with Add condition group to define who belongs in the segment

  5. Click Save segment


Include the audience in your campaign

  1. Go to Marketing > Email & SMS > Campaigns

  2. Open your draft or click Create campaign

  3. Open Included segments

    Email Campaign:

    SMS Campaign:

  4. Select your segment

  5. Optional: set Excluded segments to omit groups you don’t want to message

  6. Click Schedule or send campaign when you’re ready

Tip: After selecting segments, verify the Audience count before you send


FAQs

Can I use multiple segments for one campaign?

Yes. You can include multiple segments; customers in more than one segment will

still receive only one message.

Do dynamic segments update before the send time?

Yes. Dynamic segments are evaluated at send time, so last-minute changes to customer data can affect the final audience.

Why does my audience show zero recipients?

Your Included segments might be empty or your Excluded segments and filters could be removing everyone. Adjust the segments and recheck the count.
