How to Waive an Outstanding Balance or Draft Order Fee
Occasionally, you may need to waive an outstanding balance or draft order fee for a customer as an exception. Here's how to handle that within your dashboard:
Conditions for Waiving Fees
You can only waive an outstanding balance if the order has not yet been processed.
If the order has already been processed, the balance cannot be waived.
Steps to Waive a Draft Order Fee
Navigate to the order with the outstanding balance.
Click Process and then select Continue.
Toggle on the Waive Draft Order Fee option.
Click Process Items.
Once you toggle on this option and complete processing, the outstanding balance will reset to $0.
This allows you to effectively manage exceptions, maintaining customer satisfaction and flexibility in special cases.
