Order Editing is designed to meet customers where they already look for help with an order. During setup, choose the available customer touch points where you want to offer self-service edits.
Order Confirmation Page
Order Editing is available on the Shopify order confirmation page. This is the core customer experience and is enabled as part of setup.
Customer Portal
Enable Customer Portal in Settings > Order Editing when you want customers to manage eligible orders from their portal experience.
Support Self-Serve
If Support Self-Serve is enabled for your account, you can make order-editing options available in the support chat experience. This helps customers solve a common request without opening a ticket.
Shopper AI
If Shopper AI is enabled for your account, customers can start an order edit through a natural conversation with the AI shopping assistant.
Availability depends on your account
Some touch points appear only when the related Redo product is enabled for your account. If you do not see an option, contact your Redo team to confirm availability.
Recommended launch
Start with the Order Confirmation Page. Once your actions, rules, and fulfillment holds are tested, enable additional touch points one at a time. This makes it easier to verify that the same edit is handled correctly everywhere.
Test each enabled touchpoint with a test order: confirm the visible actions match its rule, complete an edit, then check Shopify and your fulfillment system.
Choose where customers can edit their orders
Make Order Editing available on the customer touch points your account supports.
