Order editing is a great opportunity but we need to ensure the amount of avilable inventory remains correct and that order edits are reflected in your master inventory system.
For Shiphero and other inventory systems we use Shopify tags and rules within their software to ensure edits are accurately reflected.
The tags placed are:
General holds upon creation:
1) redo_order_editing_hold
2) redo_order_editing_hold_off
Awaiting payments hold:
1) redo_order_editing_payment_hold
2) redo_order_editing_payment_hold_off
To create a rule to hold on payments in ShipHero to respect these tags simply go to the rules and do the following:
Order edits should correctly sync with ShipHeor with no additional rules.
