Available Actions
Edit items
Turn on Edit items, then choose the specific item changes customers can make:
Add item: Add another product to order.
Remove item: Remove an item customers no longer want.
Change variant: Switch an item’s size, color, or other variant.
Apply/ swap discount codes
Let customers apply an eligible discount code after checkout. This can be useful for service recovery or a code the customer forgot to enter at checkout.
Change shipping address
Let customers correct their shipping address after checkout. Turn on confirmation if your team wants customers to review the address before it is submitted.

Set an edit window
Each enabled action has its own edit window. Set the window to end before your fulfillment team or 3PL begins processing the order. A good starting point is 1–2 hours, then adjust it to match your actual fulfillment workflow.
For example, you might allow address changes for two hours, but allow cancellations for only 30 minutes.
What happens when the edit window ends?
Once an action’s window has ended, the customer can no longer use that action. The order remains protected from edits even if the customer returns to the order page later.
