Automatic merge suggestions
If using auto-suggestions, enable Shipping merge suggestions in Settings > Order fulfillment > General > Shipment merging > Suggest merge
When eligible, a merge suggestions icon appears in the app
Click the suggestions button to view proposed merges
Review each suggestion, including customer, address, fulfillment location, requested service, and delivery method
Select the default shipping address/information for the merged shipment
Click Merge shipment
The consolidated shipment now appears in the shipment list
Note: The suggestions list is also accessible from the top of the page and refreshes periodically
Manually merging shipments
From the shipment list, select two or more shipments you want to merge
Open Order Actions > Merge orders
Choose which customer and shipping details to use as defaults
Click Merge shipments
The system consolidates the selected shipments into one
After merging
The resulting shipment contains all consolidated order numbers
It displays as a single shipment record in the list
It is available for fulfillment like a normal shipment
Key notes
Merge suggestions reduce manual work but you can always review or override them
Manual merging is available anytime you identify shipments that should be combined outside of suggestions
Verify shipping address and service selections before finalizing the merge

What qualifies a shipment for an automatic merge suggestion?

Shipments that share the same fulfillment location, shipping address, and customer may be suggested for merging.
Where do I turn suggestions on or off?

Go to Settings > Order fulfillment > General > Shipment merging > Suggest merge to adjust your merge settings.
Can I ignore or override a suggestion?

Yes. Suggestions are optional. You can dismiss them or perform a manual merge when appropriate.
What happens to the original order numbers after a merge?

They remain linked and are included under the single merged shipment record.
