V2 Customer Widget Customization

Explains what you can customize in the V2 widget, how to update settings, and what isn’t configurable

Before you start

  • Confirm Support is enabled for your store

  • Have your brand assets handy if you plan to adjust colors or logo

Note: If you don’t see Support or Customer widget in your sidebar, contact your onboarding specialist or support@getredo.com.



What’s customizable in the Customer widget?

  • Core appearance and behavior available in Settings > Customer widget

  • Visibility and placement options depending on your theme and pages

  • Basic styling options designed to match your storefront look and feel

  • Live preview in the settings panel so you can see changes before publishing


How to customize the widget

  1. Go to Settings > Customer widget

  2. Turn the widget On if it’s disabled

  3. Adjust the available appearance and behavior options in the panel

  4. Use the preview to verify changes

  5. Click Save and refresh your storefront to confirm the update


FAQs

Can I upload my own chat bubble icon?


Not yet. The V2 widget uses a standard launcher icon so experiences remain consistent across storefronts.
