How pricing works for the Shopper AI agent and support helpdesk software

What counts as a “resolution”?
A resolution is when the AI fully handles a customer conversation without human help. This includes:

  • Understanding the issue

  • Having the correct knowledge and permissions

  • Taking the correct action

If the AI is unable to handle the customer conversation for one of the above reasons, it hands off to a human.


You are not charged if:

  • The AI can’t handle the request and escalates to a human

  • A human steps in at any point

  • The AI gets a CSAT score of 1–3 (if enabled)


How do volume discounts work?
We use resolution-based pricing — you only pay when the AI resolves a conversation, but as it resolves more, the price you pay per resolution decreases!

Pricing is tiered, and prices decrease as usage increases:

  • First 50 resolutions: $0.95 each

  • Next 50: $0.9 each

  • Next 200: $0.85 each

Example: 253 resolutions

  • First 50 × $0.95 = $47.50

  • Next 50 × $0.90 = $45.00

  • Next 153 × $0.85 = $130.05

Total: $222.55
Average cost: $0.88 per resolution

Summary

  • You’re only charged for fully resolved conversations

  • No charge if a human steps in or if confidence is too low

  • Pricing drops as usage grows


Helpdesk Software Pricing


The helpdesk is free if you're using AI to handle 50%+ of your team’s tickets. So this only applies if you use:

  • You only pay for tickets that a human replies to

    • Spam does not count

    • Auto responders set up with rules do not count

    • This is different from just "tickets replied to" since in other tools, this includes automations and the AI.

  • AI-handled tickets not only reduce human work but also make an equal number of human tickets free.

Example:

  • Before AI: 500 human replies = $100/month.

  • With AI at 30% automation:

    • 150 tickets handled by AI.

    • 350 human replies – 150 AI freebies = 200 billable tickets = $40/month.

    • Plus, AI tickets are billed separately at a lower rate.

  • At 50% automation:

    • 250 AI tickets make all 250 human tickets free = $0 for human replies.

    • You only pay for AI tickets (cheaper) and save big on support costs.

Bottom line: The more tickets AI handles, the less you pay for humans — and after 50% automation, human ticket costs go to $0. Otherwise, based on your usage throughout the month
