0:00 Hey, this is Max, and this video is to cover the Summary tab in your Redo Merchant dashboard. This tab is the one that automatically opens when you log in to Redo, and it helps you visualize some of your company's data.
0:13 Up top, we have the number of returns that need processing, number of returns in transit, and then your active return rate percentage.
0:20 Right here in the middle, we have a graph showing total returns. The purple line is for this months returns and the gray line is the previous month.
0:27 Over here on the right, we have this little graph that shows the different reasons that your customers are returning items, and it will also show specific items that are being returned.
0:37 Down below, we have an added revenue section. This highlights savings, upsell revenue, and the number of upsell returns. The two metrics that go into this savings are one,
0:47 The average cost of return management platform. Most of Redo's competitors will charge anywhere from $100 a month to $1000 a month.
0:57 Since Redo is completely free to you, you're saving some money there. The second metric that goes in here is the shipping labels that Redo is now covering for you.
1:06 Since you aren't covering the cost of return shipping, Redo takes care of it for you and that gets added to your savings as well.
1:12 And then finishing off down here at the bottom, you can see what type of returns your customers are making if it's for store credit, exchanges or refunds.
Navigating the Summary Tab in the Redo Merchant Dashboard
The Summary tab in your Redo Merchant dashboard offers a clear visualization of key metrics related to your returns. This is the default view upon logging into Redo.
Key Metrics at a Glance
At the top of the Summary tab, you can quickly review:
Returns needing processing: Number of returns awaiting action.
Returns in transit: Returns currently being shipped back.
Active return rate (%): Percentage of active returns relative to sales.
Returns Overview Graph
The central graph displays total returns, comparing:
Purple line: Current month's returns.
Gray line: Previous month's returns.
Return Reasons
To the right, find a detailed breakdown:
Reasons customers provide for returns.
Specific items frequently returned.
Added Revenue and Savings
The bottom section showcases financial insights, highlighting:
Savings: Calculated based on:
Average monthly fees competitors charge for return management platforms (typically $100β$1,000).
Shipping label costs covered entirely by Redo, saving you direct expenses.
Upsell Revenue: Additional revenue generated through upselling.
Upsell Returns: Number of returns converted into upsells.

At the very bottom, clearly identify the nature of returns your customers select:

Refunds
