🔧 How to Add the Redo App Embed Block in Your Shopify Theme

To display Redo’s free return checkout options to shoppers, you’ll need to activate the Redo app embed block within your Shopify theme. This allows Redo to add two separate checkout buttons: one with free return shipping included and one without.

First, choose the Shopify theme where you want the Redo app to appear:

Click "Online Store" &gt; "Themes."

Select the theme you'd like to use and click "Customize."

- Go to your Shopify Admin.
- Click "Online Store" &gt; "Themes."

In the Theme Editor, click the “App Embeds” icon on the left-hand panel (it looks like a puzzle piece).

Locate “Redo – Free Return Checkout Buttons” (or similar).

- Locate “Redo – Free Return Checkout Buttons” (or similar).
- Toggle it on to activate.
- Click “Save.”

📌 Make sure to do this on a duplicate theme first to test layout and styling before publishing live.

3. Turn coverage on from the Redo application

Redo will not appear on your site even when the App Embed is configured unless you also have Coverage selected in Redo.

Go to your Shopify Admin &gt; Apps &gt; open the Redo app.

In the Redo dashboard, navigate to Coverage Settings.

Under the “Covered return methods” section, select the types of returns you want to offer:

- Free Return for Store Credit
- Free Exchanges
- Free Refunds

Once selected, click Save Settings.

- Go to your Shopify Admin &gt; Apps &gt; open the Redo app.
- In the Redo dashboard, navigate to Coverage Settings.
- Under the “Covered return methods” section, select the types of returns you want to offer:
 - Free Return for Store Credit
 - Free Exchanges
 - Free Refunds
- Once selected, click Save Settings.

4. Where the App Embed Appears on your theme

Once the app embed is activated and the Redo covered return methods are selected, the Redo embed will:

- One standard checkout option (no Redo product added).

Return to the Theme Editor &gt; App Embeds.

- Return to the Theme Editor &gt; App Embeds.
- Toggle the Redo block off.
- Save changes.

Redo’s app embed block is designed to work on Cart pages or cart drawers.

Ensure your theme supports app embeds on these templates. If you're unsure, test in an unpublished theme first.
